The short version
RecipeHive is a free personal recipe tool. Use it to organize, adapt and cook your own recipes. Be reasonable, don't abuse it, and don't rely on it for anything where being wrong could hurt you, like a serious allergy.
Using RecipeHive
You need an account to save recipes, pantry items and plans; structuring a recipe and previewing it can be tried without one. Because AI calls cost real money, signed-out use of the AI features is limited to a modest number of tries per hour: create a free account to continue. You're responsible for keeping your account secure and for what you save or share, and for not uploading content that isn't yours to share.
AI-generated content
Recipe structuring, invented recipes, time and serving estimates, nutrition and allergen detection, translations, unit and portion conversions, pantry and receipt reading, and generated cover images are all produced by AI and may be inaccurate. Cover illustrations are generated pictures, not photographs of your dish. Always use your own judgment, especially around allergies, health conditions and food safety.
Your content
You own the recipes and content you add. We store and process it only to run the app for you. By creating a share link you're choosing to make that specific recipe viewable, and translatable, by anyone with the link.
Sponsored content
RecipeHive is free and you will never be charged for it. It currently carries no ads. In the future it may carry sponsorships or ads to cover costs; anything sponsored will be clearly labeled and kept out of the way of cooking. Supporting or ignoring sponsors never changes what features you get.
Connected AI assistants
If you connect a third-party AI assistant to your account, actions it takes count as your actions, and you're responsible for what you authorize it to do. You can revoke the connection at any time from the assistant's settings.
No warranty
RecipeHive is provided as is, free of charge, without guarantees. We're not liable for outcomes from following a recipe, including allergic reactions or dissatisfaction with dinner.
Changes and availability
This is a personal project and may change, pause, or be discontinued at any time. You can delete your account and all of your data from Settings whenever you like.
